In honor of Black History Month, I wanted to recognize some of my favorite Black musicians and music of the African diaspora with a full episode dedicated to their efforts.

By no means is this a definitive or comprehensive collection of what I believe to be the best material by these artists, but absolutely some influential tracks among them. The list was culled from many considerations and various references collected over the years.
